Will eviction be stopped due to Coronavirus (Covid-19)?
Our Eviction is Scheduled for April 1, 2020. Will eviction be stopped due to Coronavirus (Covid-19)?
As of March 27, 2020, all evictions are suspended through June 20, 2020. A tenant may consider contacting his or her landlord to work out an arrangement to remain in the apartment for additional time due to the uncertainty of this national crisis. The landlord, however, is not under any obligation to enter into a new agreement and a tenant should contact the Marshal or Sheriff’s office to inquire whether the eviction will proceed forward after the suspension has been lifted.
